The following Guidelines inform you briefly about our diving and diving center procedures.
Step by step you will find out all the details about check-in, boat diving, signing up and many other things that may differ from diving centers you know already or from the way you are used to dive at home.

Please read carefully and relaxed holidays are guaranteed.

Check-in

Check-in times are daily from 8.30 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30.
These times equal our opening hours. If you want to get in the water as soon as possible - no problem. But please remember that your first dive will be an orientation dive on the house reef.
This dive we do daily at 11.00. So please pass by at 10.45 to finish all paper work and equipment preparations.

Don't forget to bring: Certification, Logbook, Vouchers for dive packages or courses (if you have) and private equipment.

Equipment check-in

Each diver will receive one "box number" under which he can store his private and rental equipment.
Every number has one box, one BCD hanger and one regulator hanger.
You will keep your rental equipment in your box for your complete holidays - this means nobody else will use your regulator, fins etc.

Please remember that you are responsible for your equipment so to wash it and store it correctly and don't keep rental computers in the boxes but bring it in your room (you will give it back at the end of your stay).

Signing up for dives

For all boat and house reef dives you can sign up on the whiteboard with your name and box number.
Please remember to sign up in time:
- For morning dives until 17.00 on the previous day
- For afternoon dives until 12.00 on the same day
- For house reef self dives (as buddy team) just some minutes before, so we have time to prepare the tanks.

For boat dives we will prepare your box and bring it on the boat and back for you.
Just remember to bring your private wetsuit and wash and store your equipment after coming back from the dive.

Dive sites

To offer you the best diving conditions, we select the dive sites one day before - so it is easier for us to predict currents, visibility and fish life.
You are welcome to ask us about the dive sites or tell us which site you would like to see so we will do our best to make you happy.

Please remember: if you are beginner, ask us which dive sites suit you best - we will recommend you the fitting dive spots.

Briefing

Briefing and meeting time for the boat dives is at the diving center at 8.45 for the morning and 14.45 for the afternoon.
Please make sure that you are on time so we can guarantee a briefing in your own language.
Please also show up if you have already seen this dive site! During your briefing you will get all important information considering the dive and the dive groups.

Dive procedures

- All dives are limited to a maximum depth of 30 m. The maximum dive time is 60 minutes including the safety stop.
- The mandatory stop for 3 minutes at 5 meters has to be done after each dive.
- No decompression dives!
- The safety stop has to be started at a minimum rest pressure of 50 bars.
- Do not touch anything under water and please don't feed fishes.
- When diving on corners, channels or thilas please hold ONLY on dead corals or rocks and ONLY when your guide asks you to do it.
- Always stay in your buddy team and never dive alone, do a safety stop alone or surface alone.

Boat diving

When entering the boat after the briefing, please prepare and check your equipment straight away: set up, check if 200 bar and make sure that you have mask, fins, wetsuit, weight belt and anything else you need for diving.
After verifying the tank pressure, please close the tank and let the boat crew store your equipment. We will tell you to gear up in time... until then: enjoy the sun.
But please don't forget to take drinking water, towels and sun cream (remember to remove the cream before putting the mask on, otherwise you might have water coming in during the dive).

Entry: please enter the way your guide briefs you (negative, buoyant, from the front or from the back).
Always use the giant stride technique except if you have back problem.

Exit: the whole group surfaces together.
Please maintain positive buoyancy at the surface, follow the instructions of your guide, stay away from the propeller and pass up your fins to the boat crew.
Please keep your weight belt on.
In case of rough conditions please keep distance to the boat until exiting.
If you want to re-enter the water for a "swim" please ask your guide. Do not jump without asking - even if it's urgent.
