The North West monsoon creates ingoing currents at the passes around Biyadoo... our
divers know what that means and appreciate exciting channel dives!
Visibility improves a lot which even gives us the chance to cross the channel between
Medu Faru and Guraidhoo as well as between Cocoa Corner and Kandooma Thila sometimes.
The difficulties of such a dive such as strong currents, maintaining perfect buoyancy
control in the blue water and really quick descents make those dives suitable for
experienced divers only but are very well paid back by magnifying encounters with
plenty of Grey reef and white tip sharks, schools of Eagle Rays, capital dog toothed
tunas, giant Napoleon Wrasses and more.
After those exciting sights the dives are finished with a relaxed stroll along the
inner reefs or on top of our famous Kandooma Thila. And who didn't have the chance
to join will sure not miss out the opportunity of the next dive after hearing reports
from fellow divers about their experience :-)
